Roasted Chilean Sea Bass with Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce

Description

While the oven is pre-heating, start making the Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce that will be served with the Chilean Sea Bass.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. Chilean sea bass fillet
  • Coarse sea salt
  • Olive oil
  • Lemons
  • Parsley (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. Remove the Chilean sea bass filet from the refrigerator and allow it to reach room temperature.
  3. Pat-dry the filet.
  4. Add salt, olive oil, and lemon juice to both sides, pressing down to make sure the salt sticks.
  5. Place the fillets on a broiler rack and roast for 10 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145° F. Adjust cook time based on the thickness of the fillet.
  6. Remove from oven and plate. Pour the creamy garlic butter sauce over the fillet. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
